Warranty And Return Policy

Warranty 

Once in a while it rains!

MAcarbon warrants all parts for one year from the date of shipment against manufacturing defects.  Please inspect all boxes immediatly upon receipt to check for any shipping damage.  

Returns 

MAcarbon allows returns of uninstalled, undamaged pieces for  21 days after customer receives the parts. We reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking fee and shipping fees are not refunded.  Custom orders or custom carbon colors are not returnable.

MAcarbon does its best to make sure that every customer is happy.  We are in the relationship for the long haul and want you to enjoy your carbon experience. Most customer's can never stop at one piece!

Core Charge

Some parts (products using the carbon lamination process) are sold on a core exchange basis. This means that the original part must be returned after installation of the carbon part. Usually, this is done where the original part is available to us only at a cost prohibitive price. Once the parts are returned in a reusable condition, the core charge is refunded. We allow four weeks for the return of the core parts. If the parts are not returned within this time, the core charge is forfeited. If for some reason the parts can not be returned within the allotted period, please contact MAcarbon immediately. With many parts, the customer is given the option of keeping the original piece.

Pricing

MAcarbon has always prided ourselves on providing value in carbon fiber. It is not easy and the small production runs, North American and European production, high standards of quality control, and expensive original parts (for molding or lamination) result in prices that are not inexpensive. However, they are the best we can do and continue to provide the amazing selection and quality that we are known for. Like most other things, carbon runs the range from cheap to expensive. With carbon you really do get what you pay for. We do not discount from our listed pricing except for the product packages, occasional sale item and for development cooperation on a new part.

Shipping

MAcarbon strives to get you your carbon parts to you as quickly as possible.  To that end, we use FedEx as our prefered shipping partner.  For shipment s over $150 dollars we ship only via FedEx.  If the part status that you are ordering says "Made To Order", FedEx ground is not available due to the part being shipped from our production facility in Canada.  

International Orders

We only ship internationally by FedEx.  Please contact MAcarbon for a rate quote when ordering large pieces such as door sills - our shipping program does not always handle it correctly and we want you to be sure that you are getting the correct rate.

Made To Order

Many of our molded carbon pieces are currently made to order. Although we try to keep parts in inventory, there is often a three to five week period from when the order is placed to when the product will be shipped. Although we try to build up inventory of our molded parts, we often make the decision to produce new parts rather than simply build inventory of existing parts. Although this policy has lead to the current delivery situation, it has created the broadest product selection in the carbon fiber market today.

International Orders

MAcarbon will satisfy the wants and needs of auto enthusiasts worldwide!  We will ship internationally - including Europe, Asia, and the Americas.  We prefer to ship by FedEx for international orders but can use the regular postal service depending on the size and cost of the order.  We can ship only to the billing address of a credit card.  For international orders the process is fairly simple:

• Contact MACarbon to request a quote including product, actual shipping cost and delivery date.
• We will email you a quote including a credit card form to fill out (card number, expiration date, mailing address, etc)  Download the authorization form here.
• Fill out the form and fax it back to us at +1.650.590.6998.
• Fax us the front and back of your credit card.
• For some countries or order amounts we may require a bank wire transfer.

Your credit card information will be kept in the strictest confidence.  You will be billed five days before shipping.  This process is required by our bank but protects all parties involved.  Please let us know if you have any questions.
